ततः स्वस्त्युदकं दद्यात्पितृपूर्वं च सव्यतः । न स्त्रीभिर्न च बालेन नान्ये नैव च केनचित्

Transliteration

tataḥ svastyudakaṃ dadyātpitṛpūrvaṃ ca savyataḥ | na strībhirna ca bālena nānye naiva ca kenacit

Translation

त्यानंतर पितरांना प्रथम मानून डाव्या बाजूने ‘स्वस्त्युदक’ अर्पण करावे. हा विधी स्त्रीने, बालकाने किंवा इतर कोणत्याही व्यक्तीने (अधिकृत कर्त्याच्या ऐवजी) करू नये.
