भर्तृयज्ञौवाच । बृहत्कल्पे पुरा राजन्हिरण्याक्षो महासुरः । बभूव बलवाञ्छूरः सर्वदेवभयंकरः
bhartṛyajñauvāca | bṛhatkalpe purā rājanhiraṇyākṣo mahāsuraḥ | babhūva balavāñchūraḥ sarvadevabhayaṃkaraḥ
भर्तृयज्ञ म्हणाले—हे राजन्, प्राचीन बृहत्त्कल्पात हिरण्याक्ष नावाचा महासुर होता; तो अत्यंत बलवान, शूर आणि सर्व देवांना भय उत्पन्न करणारा होता.
