अवध्यं संगरे पूर्वैः सर्वैदेवैः सवासवैः । स तथेति प्रतिज्ञाय जगामादर्शनं हरः
avadhyaṃ saṃgare pūrvaiḥ sarvaidevaiḥ savāsavaiḥ | sa tatheti pratijñāya jagāmādarśanaṃ haraḥ
“जो पूर्वी सर्व देवांनी, वासव (इंद्र) सहित, संग्रामात अवध्य असेल.” हराने “तथास्तु” म्हणत प्रतिज्ञा केली आणि मग अदृश्य झाला.
