विश्वामित्र उवाच । एषा पुण्यतमा मेध्या नागवल्ली नराधिप । अयथावत्कृता वक्त्रे बहून्दोषान्प्रयच्छति । तस्माद्यत्नेन संभक्ष्या दत्त्वा चैव स्वशक्तितः
viśvāmitra uvāca | eṣā puṇyatamā medhyā nāgavallī narādhipa | ayathāvatkṛtā vaktre bahūndoṣānprayacchati | tasmādyatnena saṃbhakṣyā dattvā caiva svaśaktitaḥ
विश्वामित्र म्हणाला—हे नराधिप! ही नागवल्ली अत्यंत पुण्यदायी व शुद्धिकारक आहे. अयोग्य रीतीने तयार करून मुखात घेतल्यास अनेक दोष उत्पन्न होतात. म्हणून ती काळजीपूर्वक चावावी आणि आपल्या शक्तीनुसार दानही करावे.
