स तथेति प्रतिज्ञाय त्यक्त्वा तान्दैत्यसत्तमान् । पूजां प्राप्नोति मर्त्यानां संस्थितो ग्रहमण्डले
sa tatheti pratijñāya tyaktvā tāndaityasattamān | pūjāṃ prāpnoti martyānāṃ saṃsthito grahamaṇḍale
त्याने ‘तथेति’ अशी प्रतिज्ञा केली; आणि त्या दैत्यश्रेष्ठांना सोडून, ग्रहमंडळात स्थित होऊन, तो मर्त्यांची पूजा प्राप्त करू लागला।
