विश्वामित्र उवाच । तस्य तं निश्चयं ज्ञात्वा शस्त्रमादाय निर्मलम् । चकर्ताथ भुजौ तस्य भ्राता भ्रातुश्च निर्घृणः । सोपि च्छिन्नकरो विप्रो व्यथयापि समन्वितः
viśvāmitra uvāca | tasya taṃ niścayaṃ jñātvā śastramādāya nirmalam | cakartātha bhujau tasya bhrātā bhrātuśca nirghṛṇaḥ | sopi cchinnakaro vipro vyathayāpi samanvitaḥ
विश्वामित्र म्हणाला—त्याचा दृढ निश्चय जाणून त्याचा भाऊ, भावावरही निर्दय होऊन, निर्मळ शस्त्र घेऊन त्याचे दोन्ही भुज कापून टाकले; तो ब्राह्मणही छिन्नहस्त होऊन वेदनेने व्याप्त झाला।
