तेन रुष्टः सहस्राक्षस्तव चांते समागताः । तस्मात्कुरु प्रसादं नः श्राद्धार्हाः स्याम वै यथा
tena ruṣṭaḥ sahasrākṣastava cāṃte samāgatāḥ | tasmātkuru prasādaṃ naḥ śrāddhārhāḥ syāma vai yathā
त्या कारणाने सहस्राक्ष (इंद्र) रुष्ट झाला आणि आम्ही तुमच्या सान्निध्यात आलो आहोत। म्हणून आम्हांवर प्रसाद करा, ज्यायोगे आम्ही निश्चयाने श्राद्ध-दानास योग्य होऊ।
