विश्वामित्र उवाच । हिरण्याक्ष इति ख्यातः पुराऽसीद्दानवो त्तमः । अभवत्तस्य संग्रामः शक्रेण सह दारुणः
viśvāmitra uvāca | hiraṇyākṣa iti khyātaḥ purā'sīddānavo ttamaḥ | abhavattasya saṃgrāmaḥ śakreṇa saha dāruṇaḥ
विश्वामित्र म्हणाले—पूर्वी हिरण्याक्ष नावाचा एक श्रेष्ठ दानव होता. त्याचा शक्र (इंद्र) याच्याशी अत्यंत दारुण संग्राम झाला.
