ब्राह्मण्युवाच । अष्टवर्षा भवेद्गौरी नववर्षा तु रोहिणी । दशवर्षा भवेत्कन्या अत ऊर्ध्वं रजस्वला
brāhmaṇyuvāca | aṣṭavarṣā bhavedgaurī navavarṣā tu rohiṇī | daśavarṣā bhavetkanyā ata ūrdhvaṃ rajasvalā
ब्राह्मणी म्हणाली—आठ वर्षांची ‘गौरी’, नऊ वर्षांची ‘रोहिणी’; दहा वर्षांची ‘कन्या’ म्हणतात, त्यापुढे ती रजस्वला होते।
