अतिमानादतिक्रोधात्स्नेहाद्वा यदि वा भयात् । प्रायश्चित्तमनर्हं तु ददत्तत्पापमश्नुते
atimānādatikrodhātsnehādvā yadi vā bhayāt | prāyaścittamanarhaṃ tu dadattatpāpamaśnute
अतिमान, अतिक्रोध, स्नेह किंवा भयामुळे—जो अयोग्याला प्रायश्चित्त देतो, तोच ते पाप स्वतः भोगतो.
