यावन्तस्तंतवस्तस्य दह्यंते दीप संभवाः । मुहूर्तानि च यावंति घृतदीपश्च तिष्ठति । तावज्जन्मसहस्राणि सा स्यात्सौभाग्यभांगिनी
yāvantastaṃtavastasya dahyaṃte dīpa saṃbhavāḥ | muhūrtāni ca yāvaṃti ghṛtadīpaśca tiṣṭhati | tāvajjanmasahasrāṇi sā syātsaubhāgyabhāṃginī
त्या दीपाच्या जितक्या वात (तंतु) जळून संपतात आणि जितके मुहूर्त तुपाचा दीप तेवत राहतो—तितक्या सहस्र जन्मांपर्यंत ती सौभाग्यवती होते।
