आगता कन्यका चैका सामगीतिसमुत्सुका । शंकुकर्णनजं चित्रं वांछमाना विचक्षणा
āgatā kanyakā caikā sāmagītisamutsukā | śaṃkukarṇanajaṃ citraṃ vāṃchamānā vicakṣaṇā
तेव्हा एक कन्या आली, सामगान ऐकण्यास उत्सुक। ती विवेकी व बुद्धिमान होती; शंकु व कर्ण यांच्यापासून उत्पन्न त्या अद्भुत रूपाचे दर्शन तिला हवे होते।
