सूत उवाच । शृण्वन्तु मुनयः सर्वे माहात्म्यमिदमुत्तमम् । येन संश्रुतमात्रेण नश्येत्पापं दिनोद्भवम्
sūta uvāca | śṛṇvantu munayaḥ sarve māhātmyamidamuttamam | yena saṃśrutamātreṇa naśyetpāpaṃ dinodbhavam
सूत म्हणाले—हे मुनिगण, तुम्ही सर्वांनी हे उत्तम माहात्म्य ऐका; ज्याचे केवळ श्रवण केल्यानेही दिवसेंदिवस उत्पन्न होणारे पाप नष्ट होते।
