यथा शृंगं रुरोः काये वर्धमानस्य वर्धते । एवं तृष्णापि यत्नेन वर्धमानेन वर्धते
yathā śṛṃgaṃ ruroḥ kāye vardhamānasya vardhate | evaṃ tṛṣṇāpi yatnena vardhamānena vardhate
जसा वाढणाऱ्या हरिणाच्या देहात शिंग वाढत जाते, तशीच तृष्णाही—जिच्यासाठी मनुष्य प्रयत्न करतो—त्या प्रयत्नानेच वाढत जाते।
