होतव्यं हविरेवात्र समाप्तिं यास्यति क्रतुः । नान्यथा सत्यमेवोक्तं तवाग्रे चतुरानन
hotavyaṃ havirevātra samāptiṃ yāsyati kratuḥ | nānyathā satyamevoktaṃ tavāgre caturānana
इथे केवळ हविचेच होम करावा; त्यानेच क्रतू (यज्ञ) समाप्तीस जाईल—अन्यथा नाही. हे चतुरानना, तुझ्यासमोर मी हे सत्यच सांगतो।
