Transliteration

yūpāśca yatpramāṇena kartavyāḥ sacaṣālakāḥ | pacanārthaṃ tathā gartāḥ kartavyā yatpramāṇataḥ

यूप (यज्ञस्तंभ) ठरलेल्या प्रमाणाप्रमाणे, उपांगांसह करावेत. तसेच पचनासाठी गर्त (खड्डे)ही योग्य मापाप्रमाणे करावेत.
