यत्त्वं शंससि चाऽस्माकं खेचरत्वं महीपते । व्यर्थं तदपि न श्रेयः शृणु तत्रापि कारणम्
yattvaṃ śaṃsasi cā'smākaṃ khecaratvaṃ mahīpate | vyarthaṃ tadapi na śreyaḥ śṛṇu tatrāpi kāraṇam
हे महीपते! तू आमच्या ‘खेचरत्वा’ची जी स्तुती करतोस, तेही व्यर्थ आहे व खरे श्रेय देणारे नाही. त्याचे कारणही ऐक.
