नारद उवाच । मया ज्ञातोऽसि वत्स त्वं याज्ञवल्क्यस्य रेतसा । दैवयोगात्समुत्पन्नो भगिन्या उदरे ह्यृतौ
nārada uvāca | mayā jñāto'si vatsa tvaṃ yājñavalkyasya retasā | daivayogātsamutpanno bhaginyā udare hyṛtau
नारद म्हणाला—वत्सा, मी तुला ओळखले आहे; तू याज्ञवल्क्याच्या वीर्यापासून जन्मला आहेस. दैवयोगाने, ऋतुकाळी, त्याच्या भगिनीच्या उदरी तुझा जन्म झाला.
