अथैको ब्राह्मणः प्राह चंडशर्मेति विश्रुतः । मया स्कांदपुराणेऽस्मिन्पुरश्चरणसंश्रिता
athaiko brāhmaṇaḥ prāha caṃḍaśarmeti viśrutaḥ | mayā skāṃdapurāṇe'sminpuraścaraṇasaṃśritā
तेव्हा चंडशर्मा म्हणून प्रसिद्ध असलेल्या एका ब्राह्मणाने म्हटले—‘या स्कंदपुराणात मी पुरश्चरण-संबंधी विधीचा आश्रय घेतला आहे।’
