गर्भ उवाच । वासुदेवं प्रतिभुवं यदि मे त्वं प्रयच्छसि । इदानीं यत्स्वयं तन्मे जन्म स्यान्नान्यथा द्विज
garbha uvāca | vāsudevaṃ pratibhuvaṃ yadi me tvaṃ prayacchasi | idānīṃ yatsvayaṃ tanme janma syānnānyathā dvija
गर्भ म्हणाला—जर तू मला वासुदेवांनाच माझा प्रतिभू (जामीन/रक्षक) म्हणून देशील, तर आता जसे त्यांच्या स्वेच्छेने ठरले आहे तसेच माझे जन्म होवो; अन्यथा नाही, हे द्विजा.
