अहिल्यां चकमे शक्रो गौतमस्य प्रियां सतीम् । मद्बाणैः पीडितोऽतीव स्वर्गादेत्य धरातलम्
ahilyāṃ cakame śakro gautamasya priyāṃ satīm | madbāṇaiḥ pīḍito'tīva svargādetya dharātalam
शक्र (इंद्र) ने गौतमाची प्रिय पतिव्रता अहल्या हिची कामना केली. माझ्या बाणांनी अत्यंत पीडित होऊन तो स्वर्गातून उतरून धरतीवर आला।
