किमर्थं च समाचक्ष्व सूतपुत्रात्र विस्तरात् । कौतुकं परमं जातं सर्वेषां नो द्विजन्मनाम्
kimarthaṃ ca samācakṣva sūtaputrātra vistarāt | kautukaṃ paramaṃ jātaṃ sarveṣāṃ no dvijanmanām
आणि हे कशामुळे घडले? हे सूतपुत्रा, येथे सविस्तर सांग; आम्हा सर्व द्विजांच्या मनात परम कुतूहल उत्पन्न झाले आहे.
