ततश्च द्विजवर्यैः स संन्यस्तः पृथिवीपतिः । पृष्टश्च प्रार्थितश्चैव निजराज्यस्य रक्षणे । अन्यस्मिन्दिवसे प्राह कृतांजलिपुटः स्थितः
tataśca dvijavaryaiḥ sa saṃnyastaḥ pṛthivīpatiḥ | pṛṣṭaśca prārthitaścaiva nijarājyasya rakṣaṇe | anyasmindivase prāha kṛtāṃjalipuṭaḥ sthitaḥ
त्यानंतर त्या संन्यस्त पृथिवीपतीस द्विजवर्यांनी आपल्या राज्याच्या रक्षणासाठी विचारले व कळकळीने विनंती केली। दुसऱ्या दिवशी तो हात जोडून उभा राहून बोलला।
