ततश्च चिंतितं चित्ते स वन्यो मम पूर्वजः । येनैषोपार्जिता कीर्तिः शाश्वती क्षयवर्जिता
tataśca ciṃtitaṃ citte sa vanyo mama pūrvajaḥ | yenaiṣopārjitā kīrtiḥ śāśvatī kṣayavarjitā
तेव्हा मी अंतःकरणात विचार केला—‘माझे ते पूर्वज खरोखर उदार व श्रेष्ठ होते; ज्यांच्यामुळे ही कीर्ती प्राप्त झाली—शाश्वत, क्षयरहित व अविनाशी।’
