के दारयामि यत्प्रोक्तं त्वया महिषरूपिणा । केदार इति नाम्ना त्वं ततः ख्यातो भविष्यसि
ke dārayāmi yatproktaṃ tvayā mahiṣarūpiṇā | kedāra iti nāmnā tvaṃ tataḥ khyāto bhaviṣyasi
महिषरूपाने तू जे सांगितलेस ते मी धारण करीन व निभावीन; म्हणून पुढे तू ‘केदार’ या नावाने प्रसिद्ध होशील।
