मासं मासं प्रति सदा शांता दांता जितेंद्रियाः । ततो मासा वसानेऽन्ये चक्रुस्तच्छांतिकं द्विजाः
māsaṃ māsaṃ prati sadā śāṃtā dāṃtā jiteṃdriyāḥ | tato māsā vasāne'nye cakrustacchāṃtikaṃ dvijāḥ
मासोन्मास ते सदैव शांत, संयमी व जितेंद्रिय राहून तेच शांतिकर्म करीत; मग महिन्याच्या अखेरीस इतर द्विजांनीही तीच शांती केली।
