शेषाः सर्वे गतिभ्रंशं प्राप्य भूमार्गमाश्रिताः । अथ ते स्वाश्रमं दृष्ट्वा विकृताकारभूषणम् । किमिदंकिमिदं प्रोचुर्यत्तापस्यो विडंबिताः
śeṣāḥ sarve gatibhraṃśaṃ prāpya bhūmārgamāśritāḥ | atha te svāśramaṃ dṛṣṭvā vikṛtākārabhūṣaṇam | kimidaṃkimidaṃ procuryattāpasyo viḍaṃbitāḥ
उरलेले सर्व जण गतीभ्रंश पावून भूमार्गास लागले. मग आपला आश्रम विचित्र रीतीने बदललेला व विकृत ‘भूषणांनी’ सजलेला पाहून ते वारंवार म्हणाले—“हे काय, हे काय?”, कारण तापसी स्त्रिया उपहासास पात्र झाल्या होत्या.
