शप्ताः सर्वे वयं तावत्प्रसादं कुरु तद्विभो । ते तेनाथ ततः प्रोक्ता नाहं वो राक्षसाधमाः
śaptāḥ sarve vayaṃ tāvatprasādaṃ kuru tadvibho | te tenātha tataḥ proktā nāhaṃ vo rākṣasādhamāḥ
‘आम्ही सर्व शापित झालो आहोत; म्हणून हे विभो, कृपा करून प्रसन्न व्हा.’ तेव्हा तो त्यांना म्हणाला—‘अधम राक्षसांनो! ही कृपा देणे माझे नाही.’
