मृग्युवाच । अयुक्तं पृथिवीपाल यत्त्वयैतदनुष्ठितम् । हताऽहं बालवत्साऽद्य शरेणानतपर्वणा
mṛgyuvāca | ayuktaṃ pṛthivīpāla yattvayaitadanuṣṭhitam | hatā'haṃ bālavatsā'dya śareṇānataparvaṇā
हरिणी म्हणाली— हे पृथ्वीपाल! तू केलेले हे कृत्य अयोग्य आहे. आज मी, पिल्लाची माता, तुझ्या न वाकलेल्या सांध्यांच्या बाणाने घायाळ होऊन पडले आहे।
