एताश्चतस्रस्तिथयो युगाद्या दत्तं हुतं चाक्षयमाशु विद्यात् । युगेयुगे वर्षशतेन दानं युगादिकाले दिवसेन तत्फलम्
etāścatasrastithayo yugādyā dattaṃ hutaṃ cākṣayamāśu vidyāt | yugeyuge varṣaśatena dānaṃ yugādikāle divasena tatphalam
या चार तिथी ‘युगादि’ आहेत—हे लवकर जाणावे की या दिवशी केलेले दान व हवन अक्षय होते. प्रत्येक युगात शंभर वर्षे केलेल्या दानाचे जे फळ, तेच युगादिकाळी एका दिवसात मिळते.
