त्रयोदशी नभस्ये च कृष्णा सा हि कलेः स्मृता । युगादयः स्मृता ह्येता दत्तस्याक्षयकारकाः
trayodaśī nabhasye ca kṛṣṇā sā hi kaleḥ smṛtā | yugādayaḥ smṛtā hyetā dattasyākṣayakārakāḥ
नभस्य मासातील कृष्णपक्षाची त्रयोदशी कलीयुगाचा आरंभ म्हणून स्मृत आहे. या तिथींना ‘युगादि’ म्हणतात; या दिवशी केलेले दान अक्षय फल देणारे ठरते.
