विकल्पः स्वच्छचित्तेति गिरिजैषा मम प्रिया । प्रायेण भूतिलिप्तानामन्यथा चिंतिता हृदि
vikalpaḥ svacchacitteti girijaiṣā mama priyā | prāyeṇa bhūtiliptānāmanyathā ciṃtitā hṛdi
हे गिरिजे, माझा प्रिय विचार असा—स्वच्छ चित्तातही विकल्प उठतो. जे भूतिलिप्त, म्हणजे संसाररजाने माखलेले, त्यांच्या हृदयात बहुधा अर्थ वेगळाच कल्पिला जातो.
