सत्यमाह विरंचिस्तु स किमर्थं तु जीवति । येनैकमपि तद्धृत्तं नैव येन कृतार्थता
satyamāha viraṃcistu sa kimarthaṃ tu jīvati | yenaikamapi taddhṛttaṃ naiva yena kṛtārthatā
‘विरंचि (ब्रह्मा) यांनी सत्यच सांगितले; पण जो त्या (दान) विषयी एकही कर्म करत नाही आणि ज्याच्या जीवनाला कृतार्थता येत नाही, तो कशासाठी जगतो?’
