न क्वापि लब्धवान्भिक्षां भाग्यहीनो धनं यथा । अथ चिंतितवान्व्यासः परिश्रांतः परिभ्रमन्
na kvāpi labdhavānbhikṣāṃ bhāgyahīno dhanaṃ yathā | atha ciṃtitavānvyāsaḥ pariśrāṃtaḥ paribhraman
भटकत-भटकत थकलेल्या व्यासांना कुठेही भिक्षा मिळाली नाही; जसा भाग्यहीनाला धन मिळत नाही. तेव्हा व्यासांनी विचार करायला सुरुवात केली.
