मनाक्चिंतितमात्रं तु चेल्लभंते न तापसाः । क्रुधा तदैव जीयंते हारिण्या तपसां श्रियः
manākciṃtitamātraṃ tu cellabhaṃte na tāpasāḥ | krudhā tadaiva jīyaṃte hāriṇyā tapasāṃ śriyaḥ
तपस्वींना मनात किंचित् विचारलेली गोष्टही मिळाली नाही, तर क्रोधामुळे तपातून उत्पन्न झालेली त्यांची श्री तत्क्षणी क्षीण होऊन हरपते.
