ब्राह्मण उवाच । भूपाल बहुकालीनोस्म्यहमत्र चिरंतनः । त्वं तु मां नैव जानासि जाने त्वां हि रिपुंजयम्
brāhmaṇa uvāca | bhūpāla bahukālīnosmyahamatra ciraṃtanaḥ | tvaṃ tu māṃ naiva jānāsi jāne tvāṃ hi ripuṃjayam
ब्राह्मण म्हणाला—हे भूपाल! मी येथे फार काळापासून, चिरंतनपणे आहे. पण तू मला ओळखत नाहीस; मी मात्र तुला ‘रिपुञ्जय’—शत्रूंवर विजय मिळविणारा—म्हणून जाणतो।
