Śiva (as Ratneśvara, granting a boon/prophecy)
Tirtha: Ratneśa-liṅga (Kāśī)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Gandharva maiden (addressed) with Umā as frame-listener
Scene: Śiva’s voice issues from the liṅga, addressing a celestial Gandharva maiden, foretelling her destined husband—one sharing her name—framing a divine prophecy within a temple setting.
Śiva’s grace can manifest as guidance and fulfillment of rightful desires when worship is performed with devotion.
The Ratneśvara Liṅga in Kāśī, where Śiva directly grants boons.
No new rite is prescribed here; it continues the theme of boon-granting arising from liṅgārcana and devotion.
