वृद्धेनाराधितो यस्माद्धारीतेन तपस्विना । आदित्यो वार्धकहरो वृद्धादित्यस्ततः स्मृतः
vṛddhenārādhito yasmāddhārītena tapasvinā | ādityo vārdhakaharo vṛddhādityastataḥ smṛtaḥ
तपस्वी हारीत यांनी वृद्धावस्थेत आदित्याची आराधना केली म्हणून जरा हरिणारा तो आदित्य ‘वृद्धादित्य’ म्हणून स्मरणात आहे।
