न मया स्थापितं लिंगं कृत्वा देवालयं शुभम । यस्मिन्संस्थापिते लिंगो विश्वं संस्थापितं भवेत्
na mayā sthāpitaṃ liṃgaṃ kṛtvā devālayaṃ śubhama | yasminsaṃsthāpite liṃgo viśvaṃ saṃsthāpitaṃ bhavet
शुभ देवालय उभारूनही मी लिंगाची स्थापना केली नाही. कारण जिथे विधिपूर्वक लिंग स्थापित होते, तिथे जणू समग्र विश्वच प्रतिष्ठित होते.
Skanda (deduced: Kāśīkhaṇḍa commonly Skanda speaking to Agastya)
Tirtha: Kāśī-kṣetra (Śaiva liṅga tradition)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A newly built stone temple courtyard; priests prepare for liṅga-pratiṣṭhā with kalaśas, flowers, and Vedic fires; above, a subtle cosmic mandala suggests ‘universe established’.
Establishing Śiva worship through liṅga installation and temple-building is portrayed as supremely stabilizing and world-supporting merit.
The Kāśīkhaṇḍa framework glorifies Kāśī and Śaiva sacred space; this verse highlights temple and liṅga installation generally.
Liṅga-sthāpana (installation) in an auspicious devālaya (temple), i.e., pratisthā-related merit.
