नापत्यं पाति नो माता न पिता नैव बांधवाः । पत्युश्चरणशुश्रूषा पायाद्वै केवलं स्त्रियम्
nāpatyaṃ pāti no mātā na pitā naiva bāṃdhavāḥ | patyuścaraṇaśuśrūṣā pāyādvai kevalaṃ striyam
न अपत्य, न माता, न पिता, न बंधू—कोणीही रक्षण करीत नाही. स्त्रीसाठी पतीच्या चरणांची निष्ठापूर्वक सेवा हाच खरा एकमेव आश्रय व रक्षण आहे.
