त्वं जानासि महादेवि मम यत्तन्महद्व्रतम् । अभुक्तपूर्वमन्येन वस्तूपाश्नामि नेतरत्
tvaṃ jānāsi mahādevi mama yattanmahadvratam | abhuktapūrvamanyena vastūpāśnāmi netarat
हे महादेवी! तुला माहीत आहे, हे माझे महान व्रत आहे—जे वस्तू पूर्वी दुसऱ्याने भोगलेली नाही, तीच मी ग्रहण करतो; अन्यथा कधीच नाही।
