अथोवाचामर गुरुर्देवानपचिकीर्षुकान् । तस्मिन्राजनि धर्मिष्ठे वरिष्ठे मंत्रवेदिषु
athovācāmara gururdevānapacikīrṣukān | tasminrājani dharmiṣṭhe variṣṭhe maṃtravediṣu
मग अमरांचा गुरु, त्याच्याविरुद्ध कृत्य करावयास उद्यत असलेल्या देवांना म्हणाला—त्या राजाविषयी, जो परम धर्मिष्ठ, श्रेष्ठ आणि मंत्रविद्येत जाणकारांमध्ये अग्रगण्य होता।
