शय्या, तृण (बसणे/झोपण्यासाठी), पाणी, तेलाने अभ्यंग आणि दीप—हे गृहस्थाश्रमाची सिद्धी देणारे आहेत। तसेच गृहमेधींनी नऊ विकर्म (निषिद्ध कर्मे) त्यागावीत।
