पूर्वं स्त्रियः सुरैर्भुक्ताः सोमगंधर्व वह्निभिः । भुंजते मानुषाः पश्चान्नैतादुष्यं ति केनचित्
pūrvaṃ striyaḥ surairbhuktāḥ somagaṃdharva vahnibhiḥ | bhuṃjate mānuṣāḥ paścānnaitāduṣyaṃ ti kenacit
पूर्वी स्त्रिया देवांनी—सोम, गंधर्व व अग्नीने—आध्यात्मिक रीतीने आधीच स्वीकारिल्या; नंतर मनुष्य विवाहाद्वारे त्यांचा उपभोग करतात. म्हणून याबाबत कोणालाही अशौच-दोष लागत नाही.
