कृतांतरायो न पठेद्भेकाखु श्वाहि बभ्रुभिः । भूताष्टम्योः पंचदश्योर्ब्रह्मचारी सदा भवेत्

Transliteration

kṛtāṃtarāyo na paṭhedbhekākhu śvāhi babhrubhiḥ | bhūtāṣṭamyoḥ paṃcadaśyorbrahmacārī sadā bhavet

Translation

व्यत्यय झाला असता बेडूक, उंदीर, कुत्रे, साप व नकुल यांच्या मध्ये पाठ करू नये। भूताष्टमी व पंधराव्या तिथीस ब्रह्मचारीने सदैव ब्रह्मचर्यात दृढ राहावे।
