Transliteration

ārṣe vivāhe godvaṃdvaṃ yaduktaṃ tanna śasyate | śulkamaṇvapi kanyāyāḥ kanyā vikrayapāpakṛt

Translation

आर्ष-विवाहात सांगितलेले ‘गायींचे जोड’ हे किंमत मानून व्यवहार करणे प्रशंसनीय नाही. कन्येसाठी अगदी अल्प शुल्क घेतले तरी ते कन्या-विक्रयाचे पाप ठरते.
