अंगुल्यश्च सुपर्वाणो दीर्घावृत्ताः क्रमात्कृशाः । चिपिटाःस्थपुटा रूक्षाः पृष्ठरोमयुजोऽशुभाः
aṃgulyaśca suparvāṇo dīrghāvṛttāḥ kramātkṛśāḥ | cipiṭāḥsthapuṭā rūkṣāḥ pṛṣṭharomayujo'śubhāḥ
ज्यांच्या बोटांचे सांधे सुबक असतात, बोटे लांब व गोलसर असतात आणि क्रमाने सडपातळ होत जातात ती शुभ; पण चपटे, जाड-ठेंगणे, खरखरीत व पाठीवर केस असलेली बोटे अशुभ होत.
