प्रदेशिनी भवेद्यस्या अंगुष्ठाव्यतिरेकिणी । कन्यैव कुलटा सा स्यादेष एव विनिश्चयः
pradeśinī bhavedyasyā aṃguṣṭhāvyatirekiṇī | kanyaiva kulaṭā sā syādeṣa eva viniścayaḥ
जिची प्रदेशिनी (तर्जनी बोट) अँगठ्यापेक्षा पुढे वाढलेली असेल ती ‘प्रदेशिनी’ होय. ती कन्याच असली तरी कुलटा म्हणतात—हाच निश्चय.
