Transliteration

gṛhāśramātparaṃ nāsti yadi patnīvaśaṃvadā | ānukūlyaṃ hi daṃpatyostrivargodaya hetave

Translation

जर मनुष्य पत्नीच्या वशात नसेल, तर गृहाश्रमापेक्षा श्रेष्ठ काही नाही. कारण पती-पत्नीचे परस्पर अनुकूल्य हेच धर्म-अर्थ-काम या त्रिवर्गाच्या उन्नतीचे कारण आहे.
