यथेष्टचेष्टो नभवेद्गुरोर्नयनगोचरे । न नामपरिगृह्णीयात्परोक्षेप्यविशेषणम्

yatheṣṭaceṣṭo nabhavedgurornayanagocare | na nāmaparigṛhṇīyātparokṣepyaviśeṣaṇam

गुरूच्या नजरेच्या टप्प्यात तो मनमानी वागू नये; आणि गुरू समोर नसतानाही आदरसूचक विशेषणांशिवाय गुरूचे नाव घेऊ नये।
